Shana is a Virginia-born artist who has been creating across many mediums since childhood. She's always had an incredible passion for illustrating and painting, but turned toward it as a calming outlet for grief after the death of her firstborn son. She enjoys everything about the creation process, from thinking about materials and composition, to interpreting colors and shapes from daily life, to the tactile and visual satisfactions of seeing something through completion.
